Business Licenses

Business Licences

Having and maintaining a valid business licence indicates to your customers that your business operates responsibly and follows all applicable rules and regulations - including but not limited to building, electrical and fire codes, public health and safety requirements, and any land use permissions and development standards established within the Town's Land Use Bylaw.

The Town's Business Licensing Bylaw No. 21-20 requires that all businesses operating in or partially within Strathmore are required to obtain and maintain a valid business licence. Requiring that all businesses have a business licence helps ensure that all rules and regulations are consistently met and enforcing such ensures that all businesses in Strathmore are on a level playing field.

We appreciate your choice to do business in Strathmore and for helping us create a welcoming environment for both new and established businesses. For more information related to doing business in Strathmore, you can visit the Business Section of the Town's website.
