Lace up. Giddy up. Join the Town of Strathmore and Strathmore Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) for a race in support Elks Mental Health Project. Location: 5 km : Sunday August 9, 2026 @ 8:45 A.M. 10 km : Sunday August 9, 2026 @ 8:30 A.M. 21.1 km : Sunday August 9, 2026 @ 8:00 A.M. 1 Km Kids Fun Run : Sunday August 9, 2026 @ 9:45 A.M. Our course will take us along canals, through Kinsmen Park, past Gray's Park, and finishing up where we started - the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre. More information can be found here. |

Truth & Reconciliation Honouring the Survivors Dinner |
Join us for the Honouring the Survivors Dinner on September 26, 2026 as we come together to honour residential school survivors, their families, and remember the children who never returned home. This free community event is open to everyone and will feature storytelling, traditional dancers, a drum group, and youth involvement, creating opportunities to learn from firsthand experiences and reflect on the lasting impacts of residential schools. Together, we recognize the importance of truth, reconciliation, and supporting intergenerational healing.
This event is presented in partnership with Strathmore FCSS, Siksika Justice, Trellis Society, and Kickstand.
