Planning - Municipal Development Plan Amendments

The Municipal Development Plan (MDP) is a framework used by municipalities to address long-term community development, land use, and growth in a responsible way. If you’d like to review the current MDP, you can view it on the Plans, Reports, and Studies page.

• As with all planning documents, the MDP can be amended.
• You can apply to amend the textual part of the MDP, or you can change the long-term land use designation for your parcel.
• If you’re ready to make an application, please complete a Project Proposal Form and email it to development@strathmore.ca.
• A planner will be in touch with you to discuss your proposal.
