Income Tax Program

Free help with basic income tax preparation

Starting March 1st, if you have a modest income and simple tax situation, Strathmore FCSS and volunteers can help prepare basic income taxes. This service is for seniors and people that can't prepare taxes on their own.

How does it work?

First, make an appointment with us. You can either drop in or call 403-934-9090 to make an appointment.

Bring Government issued photo identification and all your tax slips to your appointment. At your appointment, you'll fill in consent forms that allows FCSS to complete your taxes. Your tax slips will be stored in a locked location until they are processed.

Taxes are processed in the order they are received, generally within 2 weeks of your appointment. Once done, you'll review your taxes and sign off on them before they are submitted to E-file.
