Tea in the Park: A Global Experience As part of Alberta Culture Days, enjoy a vibrant afternoon tea experience inspired by traditions from China, Japan, India, Morocco, Russia, and England. Sip fragrant teas, sample delightful light bites, and immerse yourself in the stories, displays, and cultural presentations that bring each country’s tea culture to life. FCSS & United Way Grant Workshop  

Learn how to access funding opportunities through FCSS and United Way grants at this upcoming workshop. The session will cover grant eligibility, the application process, and tips for creating strong proposals. Participants will also have the chance to ask questions during a Q&A with funding representatives.

Open to community groups, non-profits, and individuals. Lunch will be provided.

Truth and Reconciliation Community Dinner: Honouring Residential School Survivors Join us at the Strathmore Civic Centre for a Community Dinner dedicated to honouring Residential School Survivors. Hosted in partnership with Kickstand, Trellis and Siksika Victim Services, this free evening will recognize the strength, resilience, and stories of survivors through a blessing, cultural performances, and a shared meal. Together, we gather in the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation to listen, learn, and honour those who endured the Residential School system. Navigating Life's Transitions

Facing the final stages of life—whether your own or that of someone close to you—can be overwhelming. This workshop provides guidance, support, and understanding as you learn how to navigate these important moments with compassion and confidence.

Join us for meaningful conversations with local professionals and guest speakers who will share insights on preparing for and supporting end-of-life transitions. Whether you’re caring for a loved one or reflecting on your own journey, this session offers practical tools and gentle encouragement.
