Seniors and youth are priorities for Councillor Wegener. He has volunteered many hours with community sports groups such as the Wheatland Kings Junior Hockey Team and provided dedicated service to the Carseland Fire Department. Serving on Council has been a goal for him since moving to Strathmore in 2013. His desire to help people is reflected in his Health and Safety background. Councillor Wegener is a long-time resident in the region and enjoys fishing, hockey, and baseball.
