Heat Warning Ended, July 18, 2022

Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre cooling station closed. 

STRATHMORE, ALBERTA | July 18, 2022 – The Town of Strathmore responded to the region’s heat alert by opening the doors to a free cooling station. The Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre was open with air conditioning and water fountains from 8:00am to 10:00pm from July 12 - July 18, 2022. 

The Heat Warning has been rescinded by Environment Canada and the cooling station is closed as of Sunday evening (July 17).
