In attendance:  Mayor Fule, Councillor Langmaid, Deputy Mayor Mitzner, Councillor Montgomery, Councillor Peterson, Councillor Wegener, and Councillor Wiley. 

Council adopted the minutes from the May 14, 2025 Committee of the Whole.

Delegations

The Happy Gang

• The Happy Gang 50+ Society of Strathmore was formed in 1975. They organize programs that empower local seniors to remain physically active and involved in the community.

• Council presented Happy Gang representatives with a Town of Strathmore Heritage Certificate on the occasion of their 50th Anniversary.

Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools

• Harry Salm, Trustee (Strathmore) and Dr. Andrea Holowka, Superintendent, from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools, spoke to Council with an update on the achievements of Sacred Heart Academy (K-6) and Holy Cross Collegiate (7-12).

Business

Winter Road, Pathway and Sidewalk Maintenance Policy No. 3203

• Requests for additional roads to be added to Winter Road, Pathway, and Sidewalk Maintenance Policy 3203 were discussed. Administration presented the possible cost impacts. The policy will be brought back to a future meeting.
