2026 Citizen Satisfaction Survey
It's that time of year again!
We want to hear from residents about what matters most to them and how well we’re meeting their expectations. That’s why the we conduct a Citizen Satisfaction Survey, giving residents an opportunity to share their experiences and provide feedback on Town services, programs, and the community as a whole.
The survey is conducted by an independent research company, Framework Analytics Inc., using a random sample of Strathmore households. If you’re selected, you’ll receive an invitation with information about how to participate. If you’re not selected, we still want to hear from you.

What is the Strathmore Citizen Satisfaction Survey?
We want to better understand what matters most to residents and how well we’re meeting their expectations.
To help us do this, we've hired an independent research company, Framework Analytics Inc., to conduct the Citizen Satisfaction Survey. A random sample of Strathmore households is selected to participate.
If you are selected, you will receive an email from survey@framework-research.com with a unique survey code and instructions for completing the survey. Selected residents may also receive a letter by mail.
Why does the Town conduct citizen surveys?
Council and Town staff are continually working to improve Strathmore and the services we provide. Asking residents questions such as “How are we doing?” and “What matters most to you?” gives us valuable information about residents’ experiences, priorities and expectations.
In 2022, Council directed staff to conduct standardized citizen surveys every two years. This provides baseline information that allows the Town to track changes over time and understand how residents’ priorities and satisfaction are evolving.
The Town has conducted citizen surveys in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2024, with the results helping inform strategic decision-making, business planning, and service improvements.
How will the survey results be used?
The results will help the Town evaluate and improve programs and services and inform future strategic decisions, business plans and priorities.
The final results will be presented to Council at a future Council meeting and published on the Town’s website for the community to review.
How are survey participants selected?
Framework Analytics Inc., the Town’s independent research consultant, randomly selects households from a list of households within Strathmore.
Random selection helps ensure that people from different parts of the community and with different experiences have an opportunity to be represented. It also helps reduce the potential for bias in the results.

Why is random sampling important?
Random sampling gives every household an equal chance of being selected. This helps ensure that the results from the people who participate provide a reasonable representation of the broader Strathmore population.
It is a standard approach used to conduct statistically valid surveys.
What does “statistically valid” mean?
Statistical validity refers to how accurately and reliably survey results can be used to understand the larger population being studied.
Because the survey uses random sampling, the results can provide a reliable picture of the experiences and opinions of Strathmore residents as a whole, within the limits of the survey methodology.
Why should selected residents participate?
If you are selected, your participation gives you an opportunity to share your experience and help shape the Town’s understanding of what matters to residents.

How do I know the survey email isn’t a scam?
If you receive an invitation to participate in the Citizen Satisfaction Survey from survey@framework-research.com, it is the legitimate survey invitation from the Town’s research consultant, Framework Analytics Inc.
The email will include information about the survey, along with your unique survey code and instructions for participating.
I wasn’t selected. Can I still provide feedback?
Yes. We want to hear from residents who were not selected to participate in the random sample as well.
