The Town of Strathmore offers a variety of services and amenities with a number of events and attractions occurring throughout the year. The Town is home to 11 Schools, 5+ Recreation Centres, and over 100 businesses!

Strathmore Stampede

The Strathmore Stampede is home to Running with the Bulls, CPRA Pro Rodeo, and World Professional Chuckwagon races held annually on August long weekend, hosted by the Strathmore Agricultural Society.

In addition to the outdoor facilities available in Town, many Provincial Parks and bodies of water such as Eagle Lake, the Bow river and Kananaskis (in the Rocky Mountains) are all within an hours drive away.
