Strathmore Family Centre is the destination for hockey, ringette, figure and public skating activities in the winter and lacrosse in the summer months. The arena consists of twin ice skating rinks, which are meticulously maintained. The NHL ranked surface is popular for all skating events and the Olympic Surface arena seats 700 with the potential for 500 more seats on the floor. Conveniently located next to the Civic Centre, the arena also houses an upstairs convention room, which seats 250 people, and two smaller meeting rooms.
