The Town of Strathmore Geographical Information System (GIS) is a comprehensive mapping system that contains all of the Town's assets and provides a visual representation of those assets in relation to the rest of the world. The GIS department offers a variety of hard and soft copy maps for all other departments of the Town, and for a fee can provide some data exporting services to outside organizations. The GIS Technician collects and maintains this information constantly, as it is critical to all departments within the Town; it assists in analysis and the decision making processes, and therefore must maintain a high level of detail and accuracy.
