The FCSS philosophy is based on a belief that self-help contributes to a sense of integrity, self-worth and independence. The programs developed are intended to help individuals and families in the community to adopt healthy lifestyles, thereby improving community quality of life and to help prevent and/or deal with crisis situations should they arise.

Programs are administered provincially through the Ministry of Human Services. The FCSS program is designed to provide preventive community based services, planned and delivered with a strong volunteer component, to address community needs.
Strathmore FCSS partners with numerous agencies in our community to help bring you programs that support our mandate.
